Coming off their impressive 76-10 MARC D1AA quarterfinal victory, Rowan, now ranked 17th in national polls, will look to keep its momentum against fellow MARC East Division member, Temple University. The Owls pulled off 15-14 quarterfinal victory by slotting a penalty kick with no time left against MARC West Division #2 seed, West Virginia. The Profs secured a 37-19 victory over Temple in the regular season match-up in the opening weekend of conference play, however its business as usual and the Rowan coaches and players are preparing for a solid challenge from the Owls during Saturday’s match-up. A Rowan victory will place them in the inaugural MARC D1AA Championship match on Sunday against the victor of the other semi-final match-up between the St. Joes University Hawks (15th ranked) and West Chester University Golden Rams. The eventual MARC conference champion will secure an automatic bid the USA Rugby Regional Championships, November 18-19th. Please come out and support the Profs as they continue their playoff run!
